Nā Hoaloha

What We Do

Our Mission
Nā Hoaloha provides compassionate care to seniors and those with disabilities to help them to remain independent and to enhance their quality of life.

Our Vision
Nā Hoaloha is a community driven volunteer organization providing services by volunteer in service to others.

Our Strength
The strength of Nā Hoaloha is in its volunteer base and the capacity to serve many participants. All of our services are person-centered with specialized care-planning. We match volunteers with participants to ensure compatibility; resulting in friendships. Since we are a small agency we have the added advantage of flexibility to create innovative programs and services to meet the challenges for Maui County’s older adults and preparing for the future needs of our community.

Who We Are

Nā Hoaloha –“loving friend” – is a community volunteer organization that provides compassionate support services to seniors so they can continue to live full and independent lives.

As a community based organization that serves the aging population, Nā Hoaloha is committed to providing support to kupuna and persons with disabilities that will enable them to live independently and will enhance their quality of life. This is only possible through the devotion and compassion of our team of volunteers.

In the last year Na Hoaloha volunteers drove over 60,000 miles, donated 26,000 hours of service, made 2846 telephone reassurance calls and provided 41 families 2292 respite hours.
