    Genki Ball Project

    Many people want to help the environment but don’t know how. Therefore, this is a way to get people involved without them having to go the “extra mile” necessarily.

    Health 4 Humanity

    I hope through my efforts in teaching elementary and middle school students essential CPR and AED awareness skills we are able to empower young learners with life-saving knowledge to respond confidently in emergencies.

    Friends of Liliʻuokalani Gardens

    Hilo High is championing the effort to beautify and reduce pollution in our Liliuokalani Ponds, a staple of our town’s Japanese Liliuokalani gardens. We create and toss Genki Balls into the pond to promote bioremediation.

    Through this project, I hope to promote animal welfare to a bigger audience, emphasizing the point that everyone deserves love and care, especially our furry companions.

    I’ve always been interested in crafting and helping others. I want to create a group where students can come and spend time and interact with kupuna or anyone interested in crafting.

    I am hoping to start an annual event where we visit a middle school and help middle school athletes connect with the high school athletes to help them get integrated into our high school athletic programs to help increase athletic participation.
