MyHealtheVet Champion

VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System

VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System depends on the goodwill of donors and volunteers who want to give something back to America’s heroes. Volunteers provide much-needed help throughout the health care system and make patients’ experiences more enjoyable. Many different volunteer opportunities are available, and each volunteer’s talents are closely matched with one of our assignments. Volunteers can choose to serve at the Spark Matsunaga VA Medical Center or Community Living Center.

MyHealtheVet Champion – Assist Veterans within Spark M. Matsunaga Medical Center in registering with the MyHealtheVet website, www.myhealth.va.gov. A specific computer and desk is in place on the 2nd floor behind the staircase. May also need to assist Veterans who are having a hard time navigating their smart phones on the MyHealthVet website.

About the organizer

I want to welcome you to the Center for Development & Civic Engagment website. We have such a noble charge – caring for every one of our nation’s heroes. VA could not provide its extremely high-quality level of service without our volunteers, donors and partners.VA has many programs that you can volunteer your time with such as becoming a Volunteer Transportation Network Driver, greeting Veterans at the main entrance as a Red Coat Ambassador, or becoming part of the Compassionate Contact Corps by contacting socially isolated Veterans through phone calls. Your time commitment is up to you. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at one of VA’s medical centers or national cemeteries, you can easily connect to the local office by clicking on the volunteer and donation tab.
